• Finance Director at Corona Energy for 18 years. A UK business to  business, gas and electricity supplier with £750 million turnover, moving from loss making to solid stable profitability
• Secured Private Equity investment for owner managed business and orchestrated sale to Macquarie Bank
• Negotiated all aspects of client portfolio, company acquisitions, energy supply agreements with complex inter-creditor arrangements
• Management Consultant, advising businesses within the energy sector on value growth since 2017
• Actively participate as a Board director for a number of clients, and support Finance functions
• Secured a £1.5m investment for a client to support significant growth in the UK Smart meter roll out programme
• Negotiated and secured a £5m bank facility to support finance of smart meters for new start up
• Assisted in the sale of an energy TPI broker & provider of energy efficiency solutions in December 2019
• Launching a solar start up in Italy

For  over 25 years Colin has worked within the energy sector and as a  result, he has accumulated extensive executive and entrepreneurial  intelligence of the market.

• While working at TXU’s Power &  Energy Trading Colin had responsibility and oversight to risk manage the  gas and power origination team’s book of business which successfully  acquired equity in several condensate fields, gas fields and power  generation assets during his tenure
• At TXU he was seconded to the European Merger & Acquisition  finance team for the £2.2 Billion merger and acquisition and Initial  Public Offering to acquire Hidrocantabrico, the fourth largest company  of its kind in Spain.
• He continued his Merger & Acquisition experience with Caminus.
• Colin was co-owner and founder of Encore International, a Third Party  Intermediary within the energy sector, selling the company via PE  funding to M&C Energy in 2010
• As Executive Commercial Director of M&C Energy he oversaw the  pan-European sales and client expansion for the company, selling the  company to Schneider Electric in 2012
• Vice President of Business Development EMEA at Schneider Electric Energy and Sustainability
• Director of Westnewton and Watford Lodge a 20MWp UK wind farm development
• Director of Vfinance, with specific focus on providing strategic and  executive team expertise to energy supplier and affiliates or advisory  service entities in the energy market
